Elemenstor (Live Action)

The Elemenstor live action tv show started production in late 2003.

The series, titled simply "Elemenstor", is based on the best selling book series by Tycho Brahe and is aimed at a young adult demographic. The series follows a party of adventurers as they travel across the mystical land of Battal.

Early script drafts were said to be excellent and the production was started on a pilot.

It is thought that neither Tycho Brahe nor James Langomedes have had much influence on the writing. Producer Aaron Spelling took a large amount of creative control, and was not expected to follow closely to cannon.

The series is rumored to have been canceled, however this has yet to be confirmed by Elemenstors of the Peninsula and there is some evidence that the series may be picked up as a mid-season replacement by one of the networks.

Not to be confused with the The Furnishing: Live Action Roleplay.

Update

Due to a variety of scheduling conflicts and what can only be described as "spree murders," the Elemenstor live action show's right have been shifted over to UPN.

The show has been in development for nearly three years, owing to several brutal and inhuman setbacks. Its initial pitch was met with several successful attempts at spraying urine on the presenter; according to Bill Hackscombstein, one of the urine-projectors at the pitch, "I don't know. I just heard the words 'live-action ELOTH:TES series and I just had the oddeset compulsion to pee on the man that said them. It was rather uncouth, I suppose."

The second pitch was met with equal urine. A third attempt would have been successful were, knowing fair well the rule of threes, the third studio exploded itself and its staff rather than be pitched at. Several unsuccessful attempts later, the series was finally picked up by Fox.

The scripts, budget, and actors were all juggled around for several years while the "Pitchmeister" and creator of the series, Alphonse Reliquary, attempted to force the series further along the chute to being put on television. His attempts were unsuccessful, as they each involved pretending to attempt the murder of the board of directors in an attempt to impress them with his prowess.

Eventually, UPN recieved the rights after one of Alphonse's attempts to nearly kill one of his sponsors failed miserably, and the director physically holding the rights to the series passed them onto the head of the UPN network as he was panhandling for spare change. The rights were reportedly put in a paper bag, carried home, and then put onto a table, where they were poked with sticks until the UPN head decided they were indeed real.

Currently the show is in pre-production, owing to some of the recent teaser promos for the series. Elemenstor follows the adventures of Albert Requinton, a minor Elemenstor who nonetheless manages to be one of the mightiest Elemenstors ever. Due to the current budget, the plots have been slightly adjusted to only involve the available props: a single man (the creator himself) in a blue smock, all the anamatronic monsters discarded by other shows, and a largish pie tin (remains of the director's lunch).

Alphonse was let off the murder charge, as he technically comitted the murder across a state line from the victim. The specifics of the incident have not been disclosed to the public for fear of reenactments, although it is notably curious both were witnessed on cell phones, on the fifth story of a ten-story building, and juggling hacksaws just before the murder.

Is this information out of date? I think I saw a promo for an episode the other day?
You probably saw that promo on Fox. The Fox network has a long and highly unpleasant relationship with this show which somebody ought to write up. -SamSim
