Electric Rat

A species of berry-eating yellow rodent native to the Wang Kingdom, they are also known as Zapsqueaks. It has evolved some natural ability to channel Lightning Elemanifestation, giving it fantastic powers. Using this energy, it can fire off powerful blasts of electricity or create seizure-inducing flashes of light.

Its most powerful ability however, is marketing, as all Wang Kingdom Children irrationally love them. Although this is great news for toy-makers who can just churn out toy Electric Rat after toy Electric Ray, it has led to the deaths of many children who have tried to hug a real Electric Rat and have only gotten 10,000 volts of electricity for their troubles.

Quite naturally, they are popular (to the extent that a familiar can be popular) familiars for Zappers.
