The original theme song for エラメン☆ was written and performed by Japanese rock sensation, Hideo Tsuneoka. The English translation:

Before the decision was made to rename the show to Wizbits for the American release, They Might Be Giants were commissioned to compose an original English theme song. The result was of course scrapped because of the name change, but eventually resurfaced with changed lyrics as LMNO. Their lyrics began:

ElamenSTAR!
Is so fun!
Background Music
J-Pop bands such as Rubirocks had musical numbers in seasons 3-5 of ElamenSTAR, which were replaced by classic rock songs in the English version. Admittedly, many fans find the original music in questionable taste.
