The Egg(s) of Power

The Eggs of Power are the spawn of Tarbinn the Sky-Turtle and are held within the vast rookeries below Mont Slightly-Taller-Than-Mont-Elim, home of the Cohoris gods. There are said to be over 17,000 eggs kept within the caverns, all exactly alike in appearance. All but one grant godhood to whomever should perform the Rite of Tarbinn upon a chosen egg.

In the mythology of the Cohoris, First Sire Cohor earned the wrath of the gods by choosing the false Egg.

Thought to be related to the Egg Effulgences in scholarly discourse of the period when the Hierarchs sundered The Four Vales.
