Small tree spirits with bark for skin, leaves for hair, and coconuts for breasts. They dwell inside pocket universes they create within their bonded trees. Their lives are linked to their partner trees, and thus will do almost anything to protect them. Dryads will occasionally fall in love with an elf, cohoris, or man and abduct them into their tree.

Contrary to popular belief, there are male Dryads, although they are exceedingly rare. It is theorized that they have their coconuts in an entirely different place on their body, however, and they're much smaller.
