One of the five chose ones of Alfafanar.

A Darvish street urchen (whose name literally translates from Darv to be "Good Sunset") who is a skilled pickpocket and sneakthief. One day he steals a little more than he bargained for when a plain golden ring turns out to be the Ring of Memory Loss.

Droog discovered that the Ring of Memory Loss, if worn with the inscription upside-down, actually could bestow upon the wearer all the memories that it erased in others. He attempted to use this to become the smartest person in all Battal, but failed to count on the bad memories one might run into doing this.
