Dark Widow

A race of all-female, twisted, human/arachnid hybrids created by an especially dark god. They are able to shift freely between two forms - that of a pale but somewhat normal-looking human woman with webbing for hair and bulging eyes - and that of a monstrous gigantic crimson and black spider with the upper half of a woman attached. They can cough up clouds of poisonous, acidic mist and spin large webs with strands as strong as steel.

Dark Widows are exceptionally rare, being an entirely artificial race with no means of reproducing itself, and bound into the service of their Crimson Dyemon masters. The few Dark Widows who have escaped their hellish bondage often fall in with covens of undead.

Some Dark Widows have tried to reproduce with human men. This proved largely unsuccessful and after learning that they bite off the heads of their mates after sex, not many other men were willing to try.
