Cameron 'Sparks' Kent

Cameron Kent, known as Sparks to just about everyone but the teachers at Canadian Citadel, is a Fire Elemenstor from Los Angeles, California USA. Cameron originally grew up in LA with his family up until LA's destruction by a large Meteoric Cow. His sister and father died in the ensuing blast wave and the only reason he and his mother survived was due to the awakening of Cameron's latent Hotblood powers which shielded him from the heat and destruction. For several years Cameron and his mother tried to rebuild their lives but unsucessfully as Cameron couldn't maintain a job as his youth, ADHD, and Hotblood powers proved detrimental to gainful employment, with the added burden of his mother who could not get over the trauma of seeing her husband and daughter disintegrated. Finally a Knack Spotting Child spotted Cameron and recruited him to the Canadian Citadel.

At the Canadian Citadel he proved himself to be a great basketball player, being tall and lanky, and took the game as a way to cope with his loss. This new popularity rocketed Sparks into a world of sex, parties, and alcohol. Sparks built up a bad boy image over his tenure at the Citadel which entails stories of his sexual escapades, his pranks, and his flights from the law. His friend, Brian Fox, pushes him along this route and continues to add to Sparks image. However Sparks image is not completely correct as he has helped those in distress seeing them as reflections of himself and his mother. He still cares deeply for his mother and regularly tries to get steady jobs with little success.

Sparks is also compared to Alvin 'Yelp' Woijchek for some strange reason. This causes much consternation to Sparks as he doesn't see anything of himself in Yelp. This causes Sparks to compete against Yelp at everything just to prove that he is different and better than Yelp. This also causes Sparks to haze Yelp, usually with hilarious results.
