A species of naturally-occuring Furniliar that Transchants itself after 100 yearicles thanks to the high levels of naturally-occuring Stream energy in the Wang Kingdom. They are living, cyclopian, one-eyed umbrellas with a giant mouth that contains a long, sticky tongue. They are actually very friendly, and one holding onto a Bumbershoot can fly for as long as the umbrella feels like carrying them.

Bumbershoots have a paralyzing fear of Electricity.

Dame Walk used an imported Bumbershoot as her primary means of transportation in Book 8.
