King Bowsar

King Bowsar was the former monarch of The Darkmarch Elven. A master bowman, his refusal to handle arms of any other kind was legendary.

Bowsar's inability to face or use any weapon other than a bow was tested when he was handed a sword by a masked stranger. The Archer King was paralyzed with fear, and the sword gifter, known only as Sworderer, assumed the Throne of Darkmarch. Sworderer transformed Bowsar into a diamond statue, but not before the king sent The Shaft-Case of Bowsar through time, where it would be discovered by Low Elemenstor Rosinquist.

Bowsar's statue briefly came to life at the conclusion of Book 6. In "Rise of the Rhjajyept" (Book 9 of the Elemenstor saga) Swordererer was revealed to be the daughter of Cedric the Bastard, whom Bowsar had shamed by stealing Gemmerach Prime from Alfafanar.
