Bovina of Leng

Perhaps one of the more famous Witches ever to grace the face of The Sickle, although she was renown for both her failures and her triumphs.

Bovina was born in the town of Leng, famous for its reverence for all Cheeses. Growing up, she was apprenticed to another local witch, as she had a talent for brewing potions of all kinds.

However, the moment she graduated into her own practice, she immediately caused an explosion in her laboratory that caused her to metamorphose into a common cow.

Annoyed but not especially upset by this set-back, Bovina continued to concentrate on dispensing invaluable concoctions, ungents, and elixirs to the people of Leng while trying to find the antidote for her "condition".

Bovina's quest to find an antidote was significantly slowed down by the Dairy Bishops of the Temple of Cheese, who claimed that she was the "Chosen One Who Will Show Us the Path to True Dairy Enlightenment". Bovina had little to no patience for such nonsense, and she got particularly angry whenever somebody tried to milk her. She was rarely able to concentrate on mixing a new solution to her problem for five minutes straight before having to chase off some dairy zealot from her property.

Perhaps best remembered for her Extract of Sun poiton, advertised as a "delightful beverage for the Vampyre on the go" but actually quite an effective killing implement for that undead kind.
