Backa's-whump

An important restorative food described in High Culimancer Bertrick's Culimancy: Volume 1, it is reported that this fleshy lump could only be obtained through pounding the head of a small, blue rodent that lives in the Mardath Highlands, the Backa (preferably using a wooden mallet). The rodent immediately emits the strange film covered flesh, which is yellow-red in color and tastes like malted milk. The lump has impressive restorative powers, including the curing of poisons and restoring magical powers and stamina.

Unfortunately, the rodent can only survive approximately eight of these strikes, and so is severely endangered due to the commercialized harvesting of whumps.
