A sure way of defeating A Piece of Paper. In conjunction with A Rock, it could be all powerful, but the two cannot meet without A Rock destroying the scissors.

A Pair of Scissors cuts a path of nuetrality between the peaceful A Piece of Paper and the destructive A Rock. At times it can be extremely destructive, even sadistic, cutting and trimming things in untold numbers. However, at others it has been benevolent, showing its artistic side on papers dolls, lawns, hedges, and of course, hair.

One popular prank is to cut a sister's hair at night, leaving her to believe that A Pair of Scissors had been there and only just decided not to kill her. Not only is the sheer terror she experiences in the morning hilarious, but it takes forever for said hair to grow back.
