A poetic and haunting tale of a questing Chronosorcellor from the Chronoclave named Fendor Dalt. Dalt's search for meaning and causality contains many musings on the nature of identity, causality, war, meaning, and the value of life itself.

Plot- Spoiler Warning!

Fendor Dalt, a meticulous and orderly middle aged Chronosorcellor is sent by the Chronoclave to investigate the events of year 15,875 through year 15,877, during which time Durdekedohedron the Wicked was credited with the murder of over 15,000 people. Was this wholesale slaughter a result of chrono-tampering?

Leaving the Spaghetti Plane and re-entering the flow of time in this era, Fendor arrives in the middle of a pitched battle- at the height of the Great War of Magiks and Things. While still getting his bearing and overcoming a bit of time-lag he is skewered by a spear and left for dead on the field. This puts something of a crimp in his immediate investigations.

As he is losing conciousness, Fendor sees a soldier approach him, raise a lance high into the air, and plunge it into his chest. He awakes in a tent some time later being treated magically for his wounds. This was clearly the work of the Anbu-Lance.

During his convalescence Fendor realizes that he has misplaced his Recall Locket (probably dropped on the battlefield) and will be unable to return to his proper time. He briefly considers attempting to re-enchant the fabled Anbu-Lance to be able to shift a being temporally as well as spacially but quickly dismisses this as "far too theoretical" to try in a field hospital.
